At EFC we desire to have an atmosphere where God’s Holy Spirit feels welcome and is therefore present in our services. We know that the Holy Spirit can do more for anyone in a split second than hours of preaching. We believe that because of God’s presence in our mist lives are changed and needs are met. It is common in our services that there is a message in “Tongues” followed by and “Interpretation”. This is in accordance to the Word of God. You can read about speaking in tongues in the book of Acts chapter two and in 1 Cor. 12:4-10 & verse 28. This past Sunday morning we continued our series “Living Life wisely”, Living In Godly Wisdom. The book of James chapter 3 verse 17 “The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” We need that kind of wisdom in our lives today. James tells us that Godly wisdom is really a lifestyle. Five adults accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at the conclusion of my sermon. We then observed Holy Communion. My wife and I served the emblems to our congregation, after all a “pastor” according to God’s word in first and foremost a shepherd. Our Sunday night service was one where we “pursued” Christ. We had mentioned repeatedly from the pulpit that Sunday night's service would be a special prayer time. When you or me or a church sincerely asked God to show up HE will and last night was no exception. Many people experienced real spiritual breakthroughs. The Holy Spirit spoke to one of our people to have a “Jericho March” and we marched around our sanctuary seven times just as the children of Israel did in the Old Testament. Just as the walls of Jericho "came tumbling down” so did spiritual walls that many had in their own lives. We believe God is going to move in a mighty way at EFC. God not man is going to impact the Pittman road area and many souls are going to be saved and lives forever changed for Christ! Please come and join us Sunday mornings at 10:30AM and Sunday night at 6 PM. To God’s glory we are seeing numerical growth. Numbers are important to God, He named a book of the Bible “Numbers”. Please join us this Sunday. I guarantee you will since the love in God in our church and the love of the “Eastpointers".

Yesterday was a great time at Eastpoint Family Church! After a time of marvelous praise and worship, I had a three pronged altar call. I invited those who were without jobs, those underemployed and those having financial difficulties to come forward and be anointed with oil and be prayed for. God’s Holy Spirit came to confirm His presence. It was a powerful time and we believe we are going to hear great praise reports in the not too distant future.

My Sunday morning message was “Avoiding Arguments”. The key verse James 4:1 (MSG) “Where do you think all these appalling wars and quarrels come from? Do you think they just happen? Think again. They come about because you want your own way, and fight for it deep inside yourselves.”
James chapter four gives us both the cause and cure for arguments. At the conclusion of my sermon many, many people responded for special prayer to help them “Avoid Arguments”.
Please join us this Sunday morning at 10:30AM, my sermon entitled Living In Godly Wisdom I’m sure God will speak to your heart because I always use God's Holy Word in my sermons. Our Sunday night 6Pm service, after a time of praise and worship, we will enter into “Pursing Jesus”. It promises to be a great time as we will be interceding before God for our own needs and others.
Please join with us. We look forward to seeing each of you this Sunday.
God bless you richly, Pastor Claude and Bonnie.

Easter Sunday was a near perfect Sunday as I have ever personally experienced. We had a great time of praise and worship, followed by an outstanding drama presentation.

The Lord had impressed upon me in the beginning of the week, how homes should be filled with peace. It is not normal for people to hit walls, argue all the time, and have continual combative relationships. God desires for our homes to be a peaceful haven. I made a plea for people to come forward for restoration of peace
to their homes. People came forward without hesitation. God did a glorius work.

At the conclusion of my Easter message, five beautiful adult souls responded to the altar call and asked Jesus Christ into their life to be their Lord and Saviour!

An Easter egg hunt followed our morning service for all the children in attendance.

God is moving in a mighty way here at Eastpoint. Please join us this Sunday morning at 10:30am as I continue my series "Living Life Wisely" part three. The sermon title is "Avoiding Arguments". We will continue our study of the book of Ruth in our 6:00pm evening service. We are gaining much insight into the book of Ruth.

See you this Sunday and you will be welcomed by people who love God and love you.

FROM THE PASTOR'S HEART APRIL 5, 2009

Eastpoint Family Church was the place to be on Sunday!

We were truly blessed with God's presence in both of our Sunday services. Our praise and worship team ushered us into God's presence in our morning service.

Our Super Kids Church had a special musical presentation "Give me that Old Time Religion."

Pastor continued his series "Living Life Wisely-How to Develop Patience". We learned we cannot always control our circumstances but we can always control the way we respond. Two souls responded to an altar call and asked Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Saviour.

In our 6pm service, our praise and worhsip team introduced new worship music. God's people praised and worshiped the Lord with freedom and liberty. We continued our study of the book of Ruth. Pastor's title was "Getting the Lucky Breaks." We learned that is no such thing as luck in the life of the Christian. It is God's favor that He bestows upon His children.

We are looking forward to a great Easter Celebration this Sunday morning. The title of Pastor's sermon is "Is the Napkin Still Folded?" At the conclusion of our Easter service, there will an Easter egg hunt for all childred present.

Eastpoint Family Church will be a wonderful place to be on Easter Sunday.
